Panicum barbipulvinatum Nash (=Panicum riparium H. Scholz) – Eine übersehene Art in der Schweiz

Abstract

The presence of Panicum barbipulvinatum (=P. riparium) in Switzerland is documented since the 19th century. However, the species is largely unknown and is often confused with the similar Panicum capillare. The distinguishing characters between the two species are explained, and a determination key is provided. A map of the currently known distribution of Panicum barbipulvinatum in Switzerland is presented.
