Abstract
Three species of Eragrostis are more or less native to Switzerland. E. minor and E. pilosa have expanded their populations; but E. cilianensis figures on the list of nearly extinct plants. Various neophytic Eragrostis manifest more or less a distinct tendency to naturalisation: E. multicaulis, E. neomexicana, E. virescens, E. pectinacea. The first observed locality of E. barrelieri is very notable. The increase of maximum altitudes and the spreading of thermophilic species can be interpreted as a signal of climatic change. This study is based of more than two thousand records of the study species.
