Die Flora des Punto Franco Vecchio im Areal des alten Hafens von Triest (NE Italien)

Abstract

The composition of the vascular flora of the Punto Franco Vecchio (Old Harbour) in Trieste (319 species) is presented and discussed and some interesting floristic reports are also given. The composition of the biological spectrum shows the prevalence of the therophytes and hemicryptophytes, while the chorological spectrum is characterized by the dominance of the eurimediterranean, anthropochorous and cosmopolitan species.
