Abstract
The south-western edge of Germany, the Dinkelberg near Grenzach-Wyhlen, comprises many fine plant sites. The “vegetation sketches” show plant communities encountered here. Concrete examples with detailed lists of plants produce an imagination of the richness of the local flora, but finally the lost of many species is mentioned.
