Vegetation der Baumscheiben in einer Kleinstadt

Abstract

The spontaneous vegetation to be found in free areas around trees is less abundant in town-centers of small settlements than in greater cities. Three types of associations prevail: plants characteristic of walked-upon grass, of farmed meadows and those found around arable land. The detail of vegetations growing in the free areas around city trees is a rewarding if less studied subject.
