The Policy Brief series is owned and published by the Basel Institute on Governance, an independent non-profit Swiss foundation and Associated Institute of the University of Basel.
The series does not have a conventional standing editorial board. The Basel Institute’s Communications and Publishing team manages the editorial process, including structural and language editing, consistency, final proofreading, publication and dissemination. The Communications and Publishing team is supported by experts that oversee editorial quality depending on the subject matter. Substantive responsibility rests with the author and the relevant line manager and/or Director.
Every Policy Brief is peer reviewed before publication by internal or external subject-matter experts selected for their expertise in the topic.
